Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bács-Kiskun County has been successful in winning funding from the Visegrad Funds, to deliver a 2-day (18th and 19thNovember 2019) event exploring ways to improve the competitiveness and long-term sustainability of the Automotive Supply Chains in Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Stakeholders from these countries will discuss the main challenges to the Automotive Supply Chains through structured workshops, producing recommendations on developing support initiatives to transform them into World Class, fit for the 21st Century businesses. The long-term aim is to transform the way in which business is conducted through effective networking and collaboration between Supply Chain SMEs, by moving towards Value Networks (i.e. networks that create value) from cost driven, top down Supply Chain structure.



The French Embassy in Hungary is funding up to 5 scholarships for a one-month scientific research stay in France as an accelerator for the best projects led in the frame of the BALATON program.

The funded research stays have to take place in a French institution in France and are addressed to Hungarian Master students, PhD students, post-doc researchers or young investigators (< 40 years old). The stay has to be scheduled between the 1st of July and the 31st of December 2018. This is an opportunity to boost the scientific results of your project and develop its perspectives.


The Joint Committee meeting of the Hungarian-Korean Science and Technology cooperation took place on 28 March 2018 in Budapest, where parties agreed to the project based development of their bilateral cooperation and approved a working programme for the coming years. The Korean delegation was led by Chang Whan Ma, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), his Hungarian partner was József Pálinkás, President of the NRDI Office.

Based on the achievements so far, in the future the parties commit to increasingly focus on large-scale research projects that can be applied in high-tech industries, primarily in such fields as health industry, biotechnology, material sciences, ICT and environmental technologies. As a key instrument of this intention, a joint call for proposals will be launched in May which, from the Hungarian side, will be financed with a budget of HUF 200 million (approx. EUR 656,000) from the NRDI Fund.


EU-Kanada kereskedelmi megállapodás (CETA)

2017. szeptember 21-én ideiglenesen hatályba lépett az EU és Kanada közötti átfogó gazdasági és kereskedelmi megállapodás (CETA), és ezzel
megszűnik az Európai Unió tagállamai (köztük Magyarország) és Kanada között érvényben lévő vámok 98%-a. A CETA teljes végrehajtásának előfeltétele, hogy valamennyi uniós tagállam alkotmányos előírásainak megfelelően megerősítse a megállapodást.

Oroszország makrogazdasági mutatóin keresztül ismerhető meg az ország jelenlegi gazdasági helyzete, illetve Magyarországgal való kereskedelme.
