According to the law on commercial chambers and under the articles of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bács-Kiskun County, one of the most important tasks of our Chamber is economy development. In order to achieve our aims we take part in the preparation of different decisions, statutes concerning the operation of the economy together with the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and also the departments in question. As the economic local government of our county, we are expecting the reflections and proposals from our members and the entrepreneurs of the county towards our activities in connection with the development of the economic field. We can only work efficiently and successfully if we possess and thus represent the valid opinion of enterprises. 

Providing numerous services to the entrepreneurs of our county is another segment among the activies of economy development. Just mentioning the most important ones, there is the information on tender opportunities, the briefing on intellectual property rights in cooperation with the Hungarian Patent Office, the information on business enterprise control systems, among them initiating the quality (ISO 9001) and environment (ISO 14001) systems; and also monitoring the public procurement processes.
