The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry inaugurated its representation in Brussels on 21st November 2006.
What can the representation in Brussels help with?
- It represents the interests of the Hungarian economy at European level, lobbying for them directly at the institutions of the European Union independently or together with other institutions.
- It is much easier to maintain good contact with the Director General of the European Commission, the delegates of the European Parliament, the European Court of Justice, the Council of Economy and Social Affairs, and with lobby institutions at European level.
- It is the representation's task to collect and forward the information on the Union, with special emphasis on law formation and tender opportunities. This information is uploaded on the chamber's website, and is delivered to the regional chambers as part of the newsletter.
- It is more attainable to map and forward the tender opportunities, to collaborate in partnerships in connection with tenders, and in forming consortiums and lobbying for the tenders of the chamber.
